Constitution Party to hold special convention in Peoria in January

November 25, 2008

I found the following paragraphs at Illinois Review:

State Senator Chris Lauzen (R-Aurora) will be addressing Illinois’ Constitution Party’s special convention to be held on January 17, 2009 at the Peoria Public Library.

The Constitution Party’s state chairman Randy Stufflebeam says the party plans to organize in all 102 Illinois counties over the next two years. Stufflebeam reports he’s received an unprecedented number of calls about the Constitution Party since the November 4 elections.

ALSO: Blogger Archpundit has a little fun with the CP in this post.

One Response to “Constitution Party to hold special convention in Peoria in January”

  1.   BJ Stone Says:

    “…at the Peoria Public Library.”

And therein lies the problem. People say they want to “get away from the two party system”, and then an entire “party” can hold it’s convention at a library?

There’s a difference between a “grassroots movement” and simply “fartin’ in the wind”.
